Accessibility statement
Lamplit English Studio wants its website and online tuition to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible.
Our approach
The website is designed with reference to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Conventional pages and navigation provide access to all important information, with the study-room image treated as an enhancement rather than the only route to content.
Website features
- Semantic headings, landmarks, links and buttons.
- Keyboard access with a visible focus indicator.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Colour contrast and information that does not rely on colour alone.
- Support for browser zoom and responsive layouts.
- Reduced-motion behaviour.
- Touch targets that do not depend on hover.
Lesson adjustments
Parents and guardians may contact Lamplit to discuss reasonable adjustments to lessons. Depending on the student’s needs, this may include changes to pace, presentation, communication, materials or lesson routines.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email ruaridh@lamplitenglish.com and describe the page, feature or material involved and the format or adjustment that would help.
Testing and review
The website will be reviewed on desktop and mobile before public launch. Lamplit does not claim full WCAG conformance at this stage and will record and address known limitations identified through testing or feedback.
